Performance purpose:
Sodium metasilicate pentahydrate is crystal, the relative bulk density is 0.8-1.0g/ml, the melting point is 72.2 ℃, and the relative molecular weight is 212; It is easily soluble in water and dilute alkali solution, insoluble in alcohol and acid, the aqueous solution is alkaline, and it is easy to absorb moisture and deliquescence when exposed in air; Strong decontamination capacity and large pH buffer capacity; It has good performances of descaling, emulsification, dispersion, wetting and penetration.
As a detergent additive, the product can replace sodium tripolyphosphate (STPP) to produce phosphorus free and low phosphorus detergent; As the main raw material of additives, it is widely used in the pretreatment of textile printing and dyeing industry in the fields of cooking and bleaching of cotton spinning, decontamination and bleaching of papermaking industry, paper deinking agent, ceramic grinding aid water reducer, concrete water reducer and so on; At the same time, it is also widely used in chemical textile flame retardant, refractory raw materials, plastic and water retaining agent raw materials, mineral oil recovery, dispersant and quick drying agent for construction and metallurgical industry, oilfield drilling accelerator, water quality treatment, etc.
